The only reason why a car loses value as soon as it leaves the dealer is because there are thousands of dollars worth of costs embedded in that car’s price attributed to the actual dealership model (e.g., cost of building, financing the car to keep inventory, salesman, sales manager, essentially all the useless stuff…
