Kinda agree with you on this but Porsches cram so many different parts, body panels, coding (e.g., engine, ABS, suspension mappings), etc., etc. that it becomes far more than a drivetrain change. And for that privilege they charge you a bunch of money :-)

Double Ohm Seven................ LOL. Brilliant!

Porsche is the master of making a profit per car sold, so why not endless special editions? Wasn’t it a couple of years ago or so where the 911 had 42 different variants (C2, C2S, C4, C4S, turbo, turbo S, Cabriolet 2, etc. etc.).

The 737 will be a Harvard case study on corporate arrogance and hubris. LOL

and two bags of peanuts :-)

Ross had a major hand in the interpretation of the rule that let Mercedes to split turbo and that has to date given them a massive engine advantage in terms of power, driveability and packaging. The packaging has helped tremendously with the aero, cooling, complexity, etc. and since there is an engine freeze in place

“What Do You Want to Know About the 2019 Jaguar F-Pace SVR?”

Had a BMW X5 and special ordered it without any window tints and got so many compliments from folks that I figured it was absolutely the right move :-) I even hate cars with just the rear windows tinted, not just SUVs.

The “User Manual” is your friend, now go embrace your friend :-)

Didn’t this place have financial problems? Glad that nobody was seriously injured.

Someone shoot this thing and put it out of its misery already and maybe Karma will take over and Karma will be reborn as a good car or a worm :-)

Now playing

Based on the current rules the stewards had no choice but to give Vettel a penalty. Here is the best analysis I have seen to date:

They explained why they didn’t and shouldn’t have changed all four tires. The only tires that they had, sans those on the car itself, all had four stints on them, therefore way past their “use by date”. The tires on the car I believe had 2 or 3 stints on them so it makes no sense to change all four. They did the right

I truly like the new Ford Mustangs and am in love with the GT350R, but would have definitely bought a GT500 if it had a manual option. I am an old man and just can’t get myself to drive anything but manuals regardless of how much slower they may be than a dual clutch or automatic :-)

I don’t think that that is the case. I believe all manufacturers state the power at the crank since it takes out a ton of variables, but am open to updating my “brain database” based on source information.

One of the issues with F1 is that the technology, design, execution, etc. are so incredibly intricate and complicated that the average fan has no chance of knowing about it, understanding it, or in some respect caring about it as it leads to certain teams (or designers) dominating the series at the expense of “racing”.

I did some quick maths and 338 cubic centimeters will blow up trying to move an average fatty Harley rider (boy fatty or girl fatty).

Bite your tongue, Vespas are awesome :-)

‘ang on a minute.................. weren’t the purists pissed when the Cockster came out because the engine was in the wrong place and then they got mad because the Cockster with the roof on it the engine was still in the wrong place?

When Toyota was looking to expand in the US, their president came to the US to tour potential suppliers. The first thing he used to do was go check the floor worker’s bathrooms. His thought was if you don’t care about the worker’s toilet and how clean, well lit, well supplied, etc. they were - you definitely didn’t
