Thank you ESPN and powers to be  :-)

I would take the S8 too to be honest, but had an insanely good lease rate for the Phaeton so I took it and was really impressed.

If you get a chance sit inside a Phaeton, until you see the VW badge you’d think you are in an optioned out Bentley.

Phaeton’s platform, the Volkswagen Group D1 platform, was shared with the Bentley Continental GT and Bentley Continental Flying Spur.

Phaeton’s platform, the Volkswagen Group D1 platform, was shared with the Bentley Continental GT and Bentley Continental Flying Spur. Basically they built the Bentley and then used that platform to build the Phaeton. Definitely an upmarket move for the VW, but with GM it goes the other way. They take a shit platform,

Don’t listen to what the President, CEO, Head of Marketing, etc. say at Cadillac. Find that accountant that is in charge of the Cadillac numbers and he/she will tell you exactly what Cadillac will do.

Don’t you mean gussied up Malibu? LOL The Corolla is actually a great car :-)

Sam Schmidt has been an inspiration of mine for a long time and SPM one of my favorite race teams (though I don’t follow Indy that closely, I have always followed SPM). I was incredibly impressed by Robert Wickens and think he is a top notch driver.

Either VW is not serious about the hot hatch wars, or the USA is just not a hotbed for hot global cars. Winning!!!!!!!

dotard drumpf just can’t get enough winning :-)

Didn’t Gemballa cheat a whole bunch of folks and the CEO went missing and it was a mess and continues to be a mess? Why would anyone want to deal with a crook of a company?

Didn’t think I live long enough to see a Versa joke....... but the Brad pulled it off :-)

This cracked me up “Once the report is sent to GM, GM engineering then decides in a committee whether there is an engineering defect or not. (Fox watching the Hen house).”

“The Toyota Supra’s Blocked-Off Air Vents Can Be Made Functional, Says the Chief Engineer,” - Can be I think is the operative word here. Engineers are there to solve problems and come up with solutions. In this case, given priority, funding, requirements, etc., yes the vents CAN be made functional. The same way that

It’s normal for the teams to bitch and moan about every change. I am good with throwing in a whole bunch of uncertainty into the mix as the only good races in F1 were those when curveballs where thrown in due to weather, accidents, etc.

Why Toyota, why? Fake vents are so GM, Ford crap. Please stop :-)

LMAO! Those idiots at GM really thought they could pull off this crap against Toyota and Honda! Oh come on GM, get a grip, you produce crap and we know and however you want to spin it, you lied, you got caught (again) and forced to change your marketing campaign.

Carlisle has been for 37 years so he is exactly what has been wrong with GM for a long time. These old timers need to be weeded out and new blood brought in. He is from the Cadillac Cimarron days and am really not sure he has much to offer to renew a brand. Cadillac has been a tarted up GM (Malibu, Cavalier, etc.) for

Definitely like the looks and the specs, except paddle shift only. I am old school!

That thing looks and sounds badass! and I bet it sent shivers down the spine of Cars & Coffee organizers around the country :-)
