Yes it does, however, the feel of the electric steering is purely software. For example, all 991 Porsche 991s have the same steering rack and electric power steering, however, the GT3 version feels far better than the C2 version, almost entirely because of the programming!

Never did understand why BMW made such awesome cars like the M2 Competition but left a seriously horrible steering feel in it. That has been a deal stopper for me so far. It’s a shame really.

For decades GM has been ruled by constipated accountants, forcing second rate engineers to design an appliance put together by useless unions with third rate components! I have zero sympathy for them at this point since they still haven’t paid back $14 Billion of the $53 Billion bailout they got in 2008.
