I am a truck guy and I love the new Ridgeline, but I would never personally buy it without a part time low range transfer case. It’s a very well designed truck that is, indeed, all the truck most people need, but I can’t justify buying a truck without a true 4wd system.

Took this shot of a friend’s beater ‘83 Bronco the other day, was pretty happy with how it turned out...

Ok. The 2004 Mercury Marauder wheels are pretty nice imo.

1. Awful, laggy CVTs are now a mainstream transmission instead of a decent 6 or 8 speed automatic

My parents once bought a “corporate lease” (we later found out this meant rental car). It was a 2008 Hyundai Azera that seemed to be in great condition, full maintenance records etc. Least reliable car I’ve ever seen. The motor itself was great, but the transmission was terrible - sometimes it would be fine, other

Just last weekend I plastidipped my fuel filler doors black.

+1 for Portland craiglist. Oregon (besides the coast) is one of the best places to buy AND own a car. Great roads, weather that saves paint (mostly) and no salt on the roads. And Montana craigslist is fun, too :D

People tried, but were murdered before they could write the book.

This. Free Jalopnik from the toxicity that is Gawker!!!

Then just buy a Skyline sedan! Smh Doug. Think about all the American businessmen who want a MAD JDM TYTE ride to the airport from their hotels!

I’ll take “Things That Didn’t Happen” for $1000, Alex.

PANEL GAPS FOR DAYSSSSSS

Here’s a Dark Blue Pearl Marauder. There were only about 11,000 Marauders, only 328 of which were Dark Blue Pearl, the rarest color, only made in 2003. Of those, I believe that most had the black interior, and this one has Grey, which means this is even more rare.

I can safely say that was the weirdest car commercial I’ve ever seen

While I like the BRZ, no way in hell I’d buy one at the prices they want for it. For just a little over $1000 more than the BRZ you tested cost you could get a base Mustang GT, which is actually very well equipped, faster in every way, and (IMO) looks better. For the $26,000 of a base model, I could get a loaded

Thank you, I can’t stand this guy. I’ve seen his video about lift kits and it pisses me off. He acts as though anyone with a lift kit, no matter what size, is an idiot. Because no one has ever actually needed additional ground clearance.

I'd drive an old Tahoe or Suburban.

I know this car isn't ever going to sell well, but I can safely say if I had the money I would own one today. Like, I'd rather have one of these than the new Mustang GT. I know a lot of people say it looks "bland" or "boring" or whatever, but I love that. I love cars that are fast but don't really look the part,
