The head gaskets have an oil galley near the bottom of the block theat puke oil every 100k, basically people just plan on having to replace them every 100k and you’re good to go

You would be surprised how much the WRX has inspired their other car sales, many people think because of the WRX all subaru’s are “rally inspired” which in their mind translates to cool factor and reliability
Sounds to me like you need a 318ti in your life. E36 fromt suspension with e30 rear and 40mpg on the hwy... but then again the zhp gets that too. 318ti’s are so cheap now
Personally I tend to lean toward BMW for the daily drivability/thrashability factor. I love Camaro’s because my first car was a ‘77 that I rebuilt with my dad, which is what made me a gearhead. I say all of this currently not owning a BMW, or a Camaro, but my wife and I drive a 1990 and 1991 4runner and the which I…
My first bike was a 93 katana 750, this was in 2006, I think it was a perfect starter bike. Howerver I had owned a few fast cars, so that had made me a pretty careful and patient driver so I feel like a bike was the next logical step
Well it’s twin turbo according to the ad, so you could just put a tune on it and make it 3 times faster right.... or add a bunch of racecar stickers, that works too
What about the GM Ecotec engines that they have been using for the last dozen or so years, it was just a 4 cylinder...
for some reason i read, “I’m going to fucking kill you, because I have a mustache of AK-47’s stashed in the backseat, so shut the hell up, and sit your ass down.”
I love the small world community here on jalopnik
I had one, loved it, the rear end has the e30 tail happy oversteeriness that i love. Miss mine, but there are a surprising number of specofic parts, mostly interior, door panels and clips, dash, windows, 318ti.prg has a pretty knowledgeable and dedicated community though.
Which would be exactly why it failed, vw doesn’t make luxury yahts, they make nice cars, not s class and 7 series compeditors
I know that they aren’t as fast, but older motorcycles got so much better gas mileage, I used to see regular returns of 50 to nearly 60 on my Katana 750, once things switched to fuel injection MPG numbers sure did drop. Kind of the opposite of how it worked with cars really
fun to drive doesn’t always focus on speed. There are alot of cars that are slower than a v6 accord, but they have more character which is what makes a fun car have a soul. It’s is the same reason old BMW’s are so cool, cause each model between the 3, 5, 6, and 7 had a very unique driving characteristic, and I bet…
I remember a few years ago Speedhunters.com was my go to website for my daily car fix, but over the last year jalopnik has become my new favorite, mostly because I feel like Speedhunters lost a little bit when they moved away from monthly themes and gained tons of sponsorships. It is still a great website, but I love…
On the front shot of the skyline i thought it was a geo metro at first
OMG get over it, he obviously didnt mean anything racist, you taki g offence is retarded... unless you fint that offensive, maybe it’s just that time of the month and you should go grab some midol to deal with those cramps
I think you misspelled amazing!
I just started a 3.4 swap on my 1990 4runner and appreciate this so much right now
I do not like them sam i am.
