I agree, I thought maybe they were simplifying the article for publishing purposes lol. There is a whole lot of manageable things to do before condemning this poor 190E. But I was screaming compression test inside my head as I read lol. It could be a blown head gasket, fuel delivery and the weak spark is a little

Remember when a car news site was pro-car? Time to change the name to Generik my friends.

It’s the perfect country and western truck, smokes, drinks and runs around. NP.

I’d buy this thing for the decals alone.

Have you done a compression and leak down test to confirm your suspicions?

This is 2019 pricing in a 2022 world. Don’t even really need to haggle.. nice price all day.

Separate as in significantly changed from a structural standpoint.

Hold up. So people can bitch about cars not having real names but expecting them to do more than limp by on a nostalgic name, who cares?

Nope Acura set expectations way too high when they called up their Integra nameplate. If it was just going to continue being an ILX just keep the ILX name. I’m not sure why you want to reward a company for resting on nostalgia. Those who car about “Integra” name know this isn’t it, those who don’t know what “Integra”

I had an Integra Type R, number 313 I bought new in 1998. Soon as you sat in that car it felt special. Modern Acuras just feel meh…

So it's a slower Civic Si with softer suspension and a CVT. You know what else is? A lower-grade Civic.

The Integra was differenciated with different bodystyles, different interiors, and bigger engines. Historically, only a basic floorpan has been shared between the Civic and the Integra. They were related, but separate enough to justify separate models.

I think people don’t realize what new cars cost and require, and also most original Integras weren’t Type Rs.

I feel like most of the complaints about the Integra are that it’s a modern car on sale in 2022. And also that it’s not the Integra Type R.

It's a good thing Acura didn't squander this final moment with an incredibly lazy and overpriced rebadge.

Yea, I don’t think people are really reading into what’s going on.

I don’t know. The situation in Sievierodonetsk seriously worries me. The Ukrainian army has a LOT of its current fighting force (like at least 10% of its army) committed there and the Russians are damn close to encircling it. They are within 2,000 meters of completely cutting off the only paved road out of the

Honda Fit. They really done messed up by never giving us a Si or Type-R version.

The Chevy Nova SS396.

I get where you’re coming from, but your basis for your reasoning is a Q50, which is a luxury vehicle, made to isolate all the noise and ‘rawness’ of any given engine. It’d still feel smooth and unexciting with an NA engine due to its segment and construction.
