The 95-99 cars were no slouches with a stick either, they weighed a good bit less than the 00+ cars, and 0-60 in 6.6(?) back in 1995 was insane for a mainstream family sedan.

Yeah how the author could hone in on that sorry lump as his favorite is... worrying.
Not just Boomers.... you know how popular the Hemi LX cars have been with younger guys? Check your local military base parking lot or hood
You sound like a human wet blanket lmao. Go eat some more soy
Most likely something like an oil cooler line or something else external that causes catastrophic engine failure, but who knows!
She didn’t get as far as confirming whether the car would refoul plugs quickly or not, she never got thing to restart at all, in fact. Just threw in the towel. There was a number of very easy things to check that were not done or even attempted, out of laziness and/or ineptitude.
The other aspect where I’m kind of doubtful is how it compares offroad. Having seen a few of these on the street, there doesn’t seem to be much room for wheel travel or much in the way of articulation. There isn’t much room in the wheelwell at all, like, less than many crossovers by the look of it.
“Let’s copy Honda CB’s”
How are they copying a Honda CB? I’m confused
I’ve never heard of the Vitpilen before, and wow, I wish I never did. That single piece tank/sidecover thing is a complete eyesore. Damn.
FTR? It looks like a fat chunky dystopian turd. How did they manage to make a V-twin so damn WIDE? It’s everything I hate about modern motorcycle design.
You got some BAD taste…
I can hardly think of a single attractive modern motorcycle, period.
Yeah, the obvious thing to point out in that Tesla/Miata/Prius/etc comparison is that the bike is giving you ALL of those AT THE SAME TIME, for a fraction of the price of any ONE of them.
She’s not a shade tree anything. Made zero effort, thought it’d be fun and great content to have a cool jalop project car before realizing it would take actual patience, work, and willingness to learn. The lack of effort/gumption to do the most BASIC of tests/diagnostics, then finding an easy out “oh well spark plugs…
A compression tester is like $20 at Amazon/Harbor Freight. You can’t write off the original no-start issue to low compression without at least doing that. You never did confirm whether it was a lack of fuel delivery originally. There’s not THAT much to these old Mercs, if you made even a slight effort you could have…
100% this. The decals and the overall wear on the truck reminds me of old hand-me-down 70s-80s Hotwheels that I played with as a kid in the early 90s. I love it. The old Mitsu engine probably just needs some valve seals.
Am I wrong though?
Highly doubtful given the complete lack of anything resembling diagnostics by this gal to try and solve the original crank no-start condition. Zero effort/interest in learning by the look of it.
Doesn’t seem very high revving. Big upcharge just to get a manual?
I agree with others that are asking why bring back the integra name for such a “meh” ILX-tier car
36th Marines Brigade at the Illich steel plant was about 1200 men captured in mid April iirc, now around 2500 at Azovstal, and steady streams of smaller groups from across the whole Donbass front line over the past 4 months... is that number that unbelievable? Ukraine is resorting to sending local territorial defense…
“victory parade”
Russia has over 5000 Ukrainian POWs and climbing and Kiev shovels people into the Donbass to try to save the situation there... is this going to be a “victory” in the same way the capitulation of Azovstal was an “evacuation?”
Sounds like a great way for them to go out of business very quickly lmao. Do you even ride?
