I was gonna say, I’ve never had a rental with a daily mileage limit when I rented from Avis for years for work, or any other company.

What are the conspiracy theories? Are you denying the mandates for border crossing exist?

You want to talk conspiracy theories, I’d say the very premise of “Black Lives Matter” is much more of a conspiracy.  Per FBI statistics an unarmed white man is on a per-capita basis more likely to get shot by police.

I thought you commies liked it when the proletariat seized the means of production?

Those 1% looters end up in front of a judge because the 99% turn them in.”

No they get bailed out as righteous fighters for the BLM cause

I’m not surprised by its presence, I’m disappointed (tho not surprised eitehr) that they didn’t make it removable.

Depending on what year we’re talking about a Sonic might actually be a more comfortable quieter commuter car. My 2012 Civic was a good car, but it had absolutely zero sound deadening in the wheel wells (or seemingly anywhere else). How else would they get a modern compact car down to 2600lbs? The smaller Sonic

The Lexus isn’t sticking a battery back under the seat, iirc

Unfortunately what I’m realizing is that the third row is not intended to be removed, and that is a MAJOR bummer as far as how much total cargo space is eaten up. Now I’m sure you could unbolt it, but I’m fairly certain part of the reason they’re non removable is integration with side and/or curtain airbags, so you’d

Is the 4.0L really that “anemic” compared to the old 4.7L?  Acceleration times are on par.  I will grant the 4.7L probably towed a lot better, but IMO towing more than 3500ish with a tall short wheelbased rig like a 4Runner is questionable anyways.

I REALLY hope that Toyota doesn’t stick the 3.5 in the 4runner.  It sucks ass in the Tacoma.

Seems, but is it? Have you looked at the numbers?

I can almost guarantee you there’s some kind of airbag sensors or something that’s part of the justification for making them non-removable.  Also there’ll be some big un-finished hole in the floor.  Not something I’d want to see in a truck I just dropped $50-60k on.

GM stupidly listened to the idiot journalists and dropped the solid axle on the SUVs.

Sequoia in its first generation was notably roomier with a usable third row, and it actually got noticeably better mpg than the LC100 (in part due to the multi-mode 4wd that allowed for a 2WD mode), and it was cheaper as it was built in the US and just not quite as heavy duty.

It folds in half on itself (on right) like in the photo, but I can also take the whole thing out entirely to get a flat floor with maximum cargo space. It’s a heavy sucker and we never use the third row but do like the massive cargo space for family road trips especially if we’re bringing our two large dogs. So the

What I just realized, and what’s driving me absolutely nuts, is that apparently that third row is not removable (at least not without busting out some tools). That absolutely sucks. What I love about my Suburban is I can take the third row out (we never ever use it) and just have a massive amount of space behind the

The GX simple has a boxed in raised floor and miserable, unremovable, super compact third row seats (basically unusable IMO). This new setup is basically identical to what the 1st gen Sequoia looked like, with a handy horizontal partition you can install to make the floor flat with the third row installed, or

Yup, I had basically tuned out the current crop of fullsize SUVs and committed to running my 300k mile GMT800 Suburban to a million miles, but this certainly piqued my interest. I’d certainly lose the simplicity/servicability/rebuildability of my old Chevy’s simple gen 1 LS, but I could see my family rolling our newer

Quite honestly I vastly PREFER this approach of just using a partition rather than blocking off the space entirely (GM K2XX Tahoe/Suburban), that was just plain lazy and lost you space.  There’s no other place to put those third row seats in a solid rear axle truck.

Honestly this whole article sucks ass.  From the bad picks to not even getting basic facts right.
