Yeah, I was a little disappointed in that scene. I knew as soon as he volunteered to flip the breakers that he was dead, but I wished they hadn’t done the cliche’ of “Oh, I’ve made it hear safe, so I can relax and smile at my girlfriend”.

I couldn’t tell if he was joking or serious. He pops up with a grin and said he was just kidding. At first, I couldn’t tell if he really was joking or was saying he was joking just to play it off. He had something covering his face, to it is possible it really didn’t get in his mouth. I guess time will tell.

Did you guys see the Wired interview? It was typical ribbing like all of these interviews, but I did notice a quick moment that seems pretty serious. HF was talking about how he wanted RG to get the part, and RG says that HF took a cut from RG’s pay. RG gives him a look that doesn’t seem to be joking. Starts at 1:16.

I remember when this first went viral and I thought it was the best thing I had ever seen. It was so refreshing for the big companies to actually have a personality and not worry about being so PC. Thank you for bringing cheer to my world and hope you can find peace.

Wait, I’m not a huge baseball fan so I may be missing something here... His own teammate was complaining? Why? Was he taking selfies during play? Is he afraid he won’t play hard against the Cardinals because he suddenly has a new bestie who cheers for the other team?

Nah. I think what we’ve learned in all of this is that people choose different ways to protest and express their beliefs. If this is what the Cowboys chose to do, why should we judge?

I worry that the habit of protesting to the point of shutting down discussion/debate will eventually lead to “the person with the biggest mob wins”. This will mean that not only will the majority rule, but the majority won’t even allow the minority to be heard. Or am I just in such a pessimistic mood that everything…

I’m assuming this videographer called 911 with that phone before just deciding to sit in their car and film it. Thankful for the good samaritan that decided to do something instead of just sit there.
