I don’t disagree with any of this. I just disagree with your original statement that there is no accidents by people who have been trained. If you had just said that police officers need better training, or more training, then we wouldn’t be having this conversation.

What’s extra scary is that I’m not sure that the guy would have had enough time to correct the AP even if he had been paying attention. That barrier comes up pretty fast and by they time he would realize the AP was in trouble, he would already be hitting something.
