I have heard in the past that chargers that charge at the same time they are charging wear the battery out sooner. Is this still the case here or does it use a different technology?

To answer my own question, I emailed them and they say there are no additional fees other than the $1/month maint. fee.

Are those monthly plans $30-60/month AFTER taxes, or are taxes extra? What about the pay as you go plans? I see there is a $1/month "maint. fee", but are there taxes in addition to the rates per minute/MB posted on the website?
