Polestar 2s are still too expensive new. Used prices have come down sharply because no one wants them. Briefly looked around one while at an auction lot and was extremely unimpressed given the high $50k original MSRP.

The P2/P3 in France was because Leclerc crashed out with a commanding lead and Sainz had to start from the back of the grid. The Merc was third fastest on raw pace all year. Barring Ferrari continuing to struggle with reliability, I don’t see Merc higher than 3rd.
4 things stands out:
Manual, V-8 Ferrari on properly sticky tires with good pads/fluid.
It helps to read the whole article.
CDG needs to stop using the side-step approaches. It’s very common when landing there.
Well, the 2 Malaysian incidents were not Boeing’s fault at all. The BA crash was probably more on Rolls Royce than anyone else (not sure who designed the fuel/air heat exchanger, Boeing or RR).
773ER is a 20 year old plane. Because it shares a significant portion of its design with the base 777-200 that debuted in 1995, most of the design of the plane (systems, controls, etc) was completed before the rot of MDD was brought into the Boeing Company.
What? Watkins easily can fit 10 teams with 2 garages each. The pit area is huge compared to many F1 circuits. They would just move the pit adjacent grandstands to on top of the pits. The track would need a lot of temp / additional grandstands, so wouldn’t be an issue
Have you been to Spa? It’s in the mountains in the middle of nowhere with no hotels and the access roads are a nightmare on grand prix weekends.
A similar system could be implementable by using video detection to dynamically change signal timing. For series of signals with synchronized timing to allow for platooning, you would need to do a bit of additional programming, but nothing too crazy.
This.
Pointless article.
I would say their product portfolio is pretty stale. They take the same twin turbo V8/DCT gearbox/carbon tub and dress it up with different body panels, suspensions setup, and power levels. That’s the entire company’s product portfolio, at least until the Artura debuts (if it ever does).
The rumor is that Audi will buying McLaren Group and keep the F1 team. Road car division will be spun off to BMW, so VAG’s supercar experience is irrelevant.
See my post above in this discussion. Malibu residents (not any of the stores/owners in the shopping complex) complained that people were parking nice cars in a parking lot and hanging out in a socially distanced manner at 7:30/8am on Sundays. The city then told the police to close the lot - depriving the stores of…
1. There aren’t really any organizers. It’s just a bunch of wealthy guys who all began to show up there every weekend to shoot the shit and look at each others’ cars.
You totally missed the point/background of what is happening here. The article did a shit job of explaining.
Malibu Kitchen is definitely in favor of them keeping the lot open as before. The owner (Bill) has complained multiple times about not being able to open at 8am because there are cops blocking the lots. They lose an enormous amount of early Sunday morning business as a result of the stupid actions by the city of Malibu…
No, the people with surfboards are parking there to go surfing across the street at Malibu Point when the Lagoon parking lot is full. The car enthusiasts generally are eating coffee/breakfast at Bill’s or one of the other restaurants there.
