Of course it’s not a sports car. It’s literally called “Grand Touring” in Italian, which is what kind of car it is.

They aren’t unreliable though...

Your entire argument for why Granturismos are unreliable is “my brother owned a ‘98 Avalon that he beat up and it was super reliable.”

The bigger problem is the assholes who don’t seem to understand that you de-board row by row.

Seems like they should consider age, but they don’t - 13 of those 15 guys got drives, regardless of their age.

I mean, if the point of the W series is to encourage more female racing drivers in higher tier series, then yes, they should be given a greater advantage in terms of funding. Obviously if the W series winner sucks in F3, it would be a 1 and done season.

Not always. Most F2/GP2 champs ended up racing in F1, but several did not:

Yep, should be enough to pay for an F3 season or a guaranteed F3 ride.

They either need to increase the prize money to enough to afford a full season of F3 or simply guarantee an F3 seat for the champion.

San Diego is not the heart of Latin American culture in the US (everyone in this thread has mentioned this fact, yet you keep ignoring it - it’s very important for F1 to build Latin American ties). San Diego also lacks air connectivity to most major international gateways (London being an exception).

YOU don’t find Miami interesting, but F1 and millions of other people do. It’s that simple.

The worst part if all of it is that Toyota will use the Supra’s poor sales to justify no longer making sports cars of any kind. Instead, their entire entire lineup will consist of a bunch of rolling beige boxes.

Yeah, we’ve been to 2-3 more weddings in the area (Santa Rosa, Sonoma, Napa) with “formal” as the dress code and I’ve been fine in a regular suit.

I like some specificity. We attended the wedding of my wife’s childhood friend at a very high end winery in Sonoma (my wife grew up nearby). Wedding invite said “formal”, which being from the South, means black tie to me (plus it was at a very fancy venue).

It’s overpriced, but the VW warranty is good for another 5 years and 100k additional miles, so probably not much to worry about.

“Isn’t the model with the cheating heart”

Replace “kids” with Uber drivers, rental car fleet managers, and people with <600 FICOs and this headline nails it.

It wasn’t a Camry. I’m not sure if they even have them in Europe, and Schumacher was a Ferrari driver, not a Toyota one.

Camrys, eh?

I think Waymo is about on the level of the utterly hopeless people (usually Lyft or Uber drivers) you see try to make lefts at intersections that those with actual local knowledge know to avoid.
