At least with the Delta Plat Amex, you get a companion cert. That’s usually worth about $500-1000 for me. I try to use it for my annual ski trip out West, and the airfares to ski destinations from ATL are insane (Jackson Hole, Aspen, Eagle Co/Vail, Telluride, Steamboat, etc.).

Golds could select Comfort+ at 72 hours in advance for yourself and up to 8 companions on your PNR. Key word being “could”.

A couple years ago I would have agreed with this, but not any more. Delta has been making dozens of cuts to its Medallion program, to the point where it’s virtually worthless if you are not a Plat/Diamond. Changes in SkyMiles earning rates, mileage redemption, turning Comfort+ into an “upgrade” that you have to clear

The 11.9 for the Z51 A8 is manufacturer spec. GT350R is from two separate reviews (C&D and I believe Motortrend). I'm sure both can (and have) gone faster.

Z51 starts at $61k. Also, something was up with both of those cars on that day (or the drivers were slow). They had Z51 at 1:33.2 and GT350 at 1:34.5. Those are very slow times for Willow Springs. The Z51 is slower than an X6M and the GT350 is slower than a Cayenne Turbo if those times are accurate.

Z51 with the 8spd is faster from 0-60 and quarter mile. Braking and skidpad figures are similar to the GT350R. Plus, it's 300 pounds lighter.

We'll see when the GS comes out. The C7 8spd is definitely faster than the 350R in a straight line, at least through the 1/4 mile. 350R barely eeks out an advantage in braking and roadholding (149 vs 146 ft from 70 mph, and 1.05 vs. 1.10 G, respectively). That tiny advantage could be from the carbon wheels, or because

Not that I know of. The Z51 with the 8-speed auto is better than a GT350R in straight line performance, although it lags slightly behind in braking - 3' from 70 mph and roadholding - 0.05 lateral G.

C7 Corvette with Z51 Package or a C7 GS will run circles around a GT350R

I bought a really nice 2003 Suzuka Blue example with 92k miles for $10,800. Great car that needed nothing mechanically. Sold it for $11,500 9 months later. There are certainly deals to be had if you buy in the winter.

I believe Porsche's 20k OCI is Euro-only, but 15k was the norm with Porsche, BMW, Audi, Merc, etc. for a number of years.

BMW, Audi, Mercedes, and Porsche also have LL (longlife) OCIs that are 15k-20k miles. Modern Group IV synthetics absolutely do not need to be changed every 3k miles. It wastes money, oil, and is bad for the environment.

Dodge’s own recommended OCI (on dino oil) is 6k miles. So the car reasonably can go at least that far, if not closer to 8k miles (the OCI on later model year Calibers).

Pure clickbait. Millions of cars have OCIs of 12k miles or more without any issues.

It's horrifically constructed and looks like something out of Google Translate. It has two verbs serving the same purpose in one sentence. Yikes.

Excuse me, I have the new cheat box,” the protestor, dressed in a set of Volkswagen mechanics’ coveralls began and draped in the fineries of a Yes Men performance said, before going to tinker under the car.

I think that is some part of the allure of flying in first. You get to sit with a drink in hand and watch/judge the rest of the plane as they board. From a practical standpoint, first is nice because there’s more space to get work done, you get priority everything (bag tags, security line, boarding, etc.), and having

I get upgraded to first on about 50% of my flights and boarding first is fantastic. No one takes your overhead space and you get to have a pre-departure drink while everyone else is standing in line on the jetway and in the aisle, trying to find overhead bin space.

Because they’re making so much money, airlines are cutting services for passengers, not adding them (the paltry items from this list notwithstanding).

I found that also, but the issue is that the dealership refuses to accept the car at all. They will not take the keys from you, create any entry in the system, etc., because there is "nothing wrong with the car", so there is nothing for them to fix.
