Toyota have it in at least some of their cars (that guy who claimed the accelerator stuck and the brakes didn’t work). My former car, a Peugeot 206+ Diesel also had it. I haven’t tested if my current car, a Peugeot 208 Diesel has it.
I don’t know if it goes for all modern manual cars but at least in many of them, if you try heel-toe it, the electronics kills the engine as it believes you have a stuck accelerator.
