I’m probably stating the obvious here, but apparently a “supercar” in 1970's Australia was what we Yanks called a “musclecar.”

I knew a girl who traded her MG for a white Chrysler LeBaron..

This engine is probably from a Benz 12-seater bus. That was the only production Benz at the time with an engine that large, which makes this racer one of the very first “hot rods”.

Do you have any experience with cameras from the GDR of that era? I have a few SLRs from the late sixties, early seventies (Exacta Exa 1a, Ricoh Singlex TLS, Zenit E and a Carena SRH1000). The Exa and the Singlex are equally well built and take good pictures, even though the Exa has less features.

Now near the Poles where Longitudinal lines converge and compasses get weird is the only place sextant navigation is still used by

You’re right. I’ll fix that. It’s not the motor’s inertia that slows the car down.

The only thing I really haven’t done with the Lancer is find its top speed. It’s been on track a lot! But I don’t know how fast it’ll go. Something something responsible adult something too afraid of getting arrested in West Texas now (something). This would be the appropriate venue to answer such a question.
