Try playing it. I’m 43. It’s a fun game.

This will get stuck int he greys, but Niantic is actually opening itself up for a lawsuit by even making this game.
I’m 43. I don’t know if that makes me too old for it, as I was never into them when I was younger, but I get the appeal, as I *am* into magic the Gathering, for instance.
But they chose to sue. They didn’t have to sue.
If anyone has a chance to see it, don’t miss “The Drop”, which came out two years ago; it was James Gandolfini’s last role, but holy smokes is Tom Hardy good in that flick.
Here’s a reddit post you should be aware of:
There are more tribes than the Oneida tribe. The poll was done on Indians from all 50 states, and so I value that poll more than the opinions of members of one tribe. That is the answer to your question.
Why is it so fucking hard to understand. A scientific poll was done on the attitude of Native Americans towards a “slur”, and that poll disagrees with your preconceived notions on what is and should be offensive. Most Indians don’t find it offensive. Period. Now deal with it.
A scientific poll of Indian attitudes on a subject is more valuable to me and more likely to be accurate than the opinion of the leadership of the tribe, correct. Thanks for playing.
That organization may be the elected representative of Indian folks, but that doesn’t mean they were elected because of their opinion on the Redskins controversy. The only way to know that is to...do a poll.
Fortunately your opinion on what is actually racist is worth as much to me as the pixels it’s printed with.
I’ll take the views of a legitimate polling of actual Indians over the views of a leadership organization any day of the week.
So what percentage does a person have to be for you to take their opinion seriously?
Or maybe they don’t think it’s racist and that you shouldn’t be offended. Things aren’t racist just because you say they are.
Actually, many of the people interviewed by the Post, “In their own words” specifically said the name was a point of pride for them. Are they wrong? The interviews are actually quite enlightening.
The origins of the word clearly indicate it was NOT initially intended as a slur; it was used by Native Americans to differentiate themselves from white men. That is a FACT.
How is it a racial slur if 9/10ths of the people it’s supposed to offend don’t find it offensive, even if the dictionary says its a slur? Maybe the dictionary is wrong.
It would go over find with actual Indians, but not with non-Indians and people easily offended.
How is it a slur if 9/10ths of the people it’s supposed to offend don’t find it offensive? Isn’t it possible that labeling it as a slur is wrong of most of the folks it refers to don’t mind?
Nah. the problem is, there’s a fair amount of leeway for people speeding a few miles over the limit in most states, and so the left is kindof reserved for people going faster than traffic on average. You should be on the right, unless passing or going so fast no one is passing you.
