Would hate to get a flat tire with a load of anything in the back. it would have been better putting the spare tire underneath the bed and not having a storage space under the bed.

I have a ‘91 with the 2.8L Turbo Intercooled Diesel 5Spd with the third roll jump seats. I mostly see it in the summers, besides the alternator giving me some minor issues its been a great rig. Starts after sitting for a year, it will get around 7.8L to 100K. I never push it above 110Kph. The best part is I paid about

Testing batteries for the automotive side is not an easy business. A big name testing facility burned to the ground due to the dangers with post test accidents.

We need to take into account not only displacement but also size. For example a 426 Hemi is called an elephant for a reason. The valve cover gaskets are the size of oil pan gaskets for most cars/trucks

extra cab option on a cab and chassis would be sweet.

Factory sway bars are set up for better on road handling vs off road. For good off road you would really want an after market sway bar, if you do more off road then on road, like something a Currie anti rock will give you. Realistically there is nothing that will handle both on road and off road equally well.

Disconnecting the sway bars can actually hurt you off road. In the 2000's it was all about sway bar disconects. Now its about a proper sway bar to improve off road traction.

I hate the fact that this will never be offered in a two door and a stripped down no thrills option. Those days it seems are long over. Its all about more options more stuff added. When there is a market for a slimmed down true base vehicles. When I first bought a jeep in ‘98 it was a TJ SE, stereo delete, no rear

A couple of things I hope will become available.

Detroit Locker for the ‘98 Jeep TJ

Because not everyone can afford two vehicles.

Rather have the blue Series 2 in the back ground at the 0:59 mark

I replied to the wrong part of the thread. BTW it looks like it was a cold cold winter in the D. I was there for most of Feb., to March and it was miserable.

where did you get the Bantam sweatshirt from?

All the things pointed out in the articel and things not mentioned, rear cross member, wire running on out side of “bed”, the pipe work on the lumber rack, screams hurry up and finish to start on the next part of the build.

Would not trust my life to mig welds that are stop go

The big three, salt mines, and the road construction people are in bed together at least in MI. This makes more sense when you know there is a giant salt mine under Detroit. How else do you explain whats going on over there, they have brain washed people into thinking that studded tires destroy roads. Have you seen

doesnt look like the truck had a body lift judging by the bed of the truck that appears to be bolted to the factory brackets with out the spacers. I would guess rust caused something in the steering to give way causing it to hit hit something or slide sideways which resulted in the body bolts/frame/body mounts to give

I dont understand people that say its to big or that no one needs a truck that large. The F450 is the same size as a F250/350. the only difference is that Ford stuck a pick up bed on a 2 ton truck that would normally be a cab and chassis. Dimension wise its the same. It allows the owner to tow/haul more in luxury. If

Also the both the M38 and WWII Jeeps had a glove box which this jeep appears to not have
