Personal attacks like that are not a great way to have dialogue with people who have different opinions from yours. I hope that sort of talk stops so we can finally unify the country. Maybe it’all lead to a greater understanding if we weren’t so mean to one another and showed respect for eachother’s views.

As a Trump voter, I can say that race didn’t really play into my decision. I voted along party lines because I believe in small government. I feel like Trump, while not perfect by any means, won’t veto as many measures congress puts forth as Hillary would have.

Not a Methodist. Also, government had nothing to do with it, hard work, great friends and family, basketball, and fitness were the real keys.

There needs to be more of it! So much nonsense on TV and online.... Who knows what is in store in 2017, it could be an incredible year for all of us! I know my sister voted Clinton and was super bummed, and she got an A on the exam she got back today and it turned out to be a great day for her! Really, just enjoy life

As a Republican who voted Trump, I understand where you are coming from. I was highly annoyed when Obama was elected, but had a great day the next day and an AWESOME year this year. Just focus on self-improvement, doing well in school/ at work, and no matter your political leanings, you’ll have a great year too!!! I
