I guess you realized it’s not actually a matter of being able to, but being unwilling to, as it is with most “can’ts”

They’re definitely not the ones being used by police, just cheap consumer-grade stuff. They’re much beefier, not just stamped steel, and are about 10x the cost.
Just the really cheap ones. Actual boots that police use are much more expensive and much harder to get off. Not that it still couldn’t be done, just not as easily as the type in the video.
As long as they have a white vehicle and wear a yellow vest, nobody’ll look twice.
They’re also made to run for hours at a time, and air cooled. Maybe even still carburated (though I’m not sure if they can still get away with that).
After all, that is why motor vehicles use transmissions in the drive train - it allows the vehicle to eventually reach a speed far greater that it could with straight engine RPMs alone.
Drugs are bad, m’kay.
How does asbestos, paint, and plumbing factor into wind and snow load ratings?
Just because you get something out of it doesn’t mean it was a return on investment, especially monetarily. Unless you already have the luxury of blowing money on a degree that’s not going to earn you money, it’s useless to you.
Yes. Its better to have one person making 25 an hour than two people making 11.00 an hour, because mr 25 has health insurance, can go go night school, and pull himself up in life, and claim some of the millions of tech jobs we can’t fill, and then another unemployed guy takes his spot and the cycle repeats.
Manufacturing. The mid-Atlantic.
Nobody’s saying all jobs have to be manufacturing, or the same portion, just that the more the better, and policies that reduce manufacturing jobs are bad. Of course it’s not going to be as high a percentage when most of the jobs today didn’t exist and the rest of the world was in shambles from a major war, and yes,…
No thanks, my cast iron pans are fine thanks.
So I’m not really seeing anything in your response that makes them not able to be profitable. Marketing and lobbying as the largest expense means they’ve got a ton of room for profit.
If it’s non-stick, why would you use cooking spray? I mostly use cast iron, permanent residue is good. I’ll try peanut oil next time.
The one I have isn’t Pam, and lists the ingredients as extra virgin olive oil, soy lecithin, and dimethyl silicone. Maybe it’s the silicone (that they list for anti-foaming) that really gives it it’s lubricative properties.
I get similar results with aerosol olive oil too, but it’s possible the additives raise the smoke point.
What difference? I’m not sure what kind of internet you think exists out here, but there are many, many businesses running off it, and I have worked from home fairly often. Again, what is with this myth that internet doesn’t exist outside of the city or HOAs? Nevermind, it’s shit out here, don’t come. Sometimes…
It apparently extends halfway across the country too. Your’s isn’t going past your nose...
You could even get by without the “work hard” part for a while. Sure there are some days or some jobs that require it, but for the most part, not really.
