I guess his wife got the 300?
I guess his wife got the 300?
The 2005 Mustang is one of the ugliest Mustangs made, the 2010 refresh helped a lot.
And then, somehow, Chrysler would also sell you this thing, in freaking purple if you wanted it:
Nah, a lot of people bought the 3 because they wanted a cheaper electric car, if he brought the Y out first, sales of the 3 would probably have been 1/4 of what they were. Now that the Y is a year or two later, they can get the same buyer twice.
for, and you have to go to a super duty to get the towing capacity anyway. The Rivian is priced competitively.
Where exactly were my facts incorrect? Even $29k is still in the 20's.... And so what? The OP’s point still stands, you can buy a F150 and a weekend toy for the price of a Rivian. Why are you trying to argue this?
I didn’t lie, the starting price is literally in the 20's. Also, less than 2 years ago, they were around $24-26k, and I’m not constantly shopping for base model F150s to keep up with all their price changes.
I just used their build and price, I have no interest in actually purchasing one so I don’t know.
It was at that point that the Dodge dealership in Phoenix where they got them serviced told them that they were literally no longer safe to drive.
Tesla eventually did, and BMW and Jaguar aren’t startups with no income to their names. Tesla also went with custom designed doors and flush door handles too, I suppose you think that means every car must have falcon doors and electric handles too.
And new windows. I’m under the shade of trees all day though, and I’m not going to be staying in this house long enough for the effort to be worth it.
No, because you could also by a F150 for that price. I’m not comparing anything. Literally the guy said “For the price of a Rivian you can get a New F150 and a weekend toy”, there’s nothing untrue about that. There’s also plenty of people who have no desire or need for luxury features in a pickup truck, and part of…
A Rivian is not $30k.
You don’t need leather seats and infotainment for a truck to be useful.
At any coal mine, yard, or even places sell it in bags. Lots of people even deliver for people without trucks.
That’s correct, they don’t need to worry about emissions and fuel economy with EVs. VFDs, motors, batteries? All of that is essentially off the shelf, and can be with a start-up. Yes, an OEM is going to design and test their own components looking for any edge they can, but a start up’s not going to. They’ll never…
Sure, but that relies on private entities to produce their own power, not the utility companies.
A blocked storm drain somewhere I guess could be a design flaw.
That doesn’t change their statement about being able to get a new F150 and a weekend toy one bit. They didn’t say a new F150 Platinum, they said a new F150, which starts in the $20k’s.
