@wyomingcowboyup: Wait, does this mean that they carry NFL Network on other tiers? Because Time Warner in NYC will not give you NFL Network no matter how much you pay. And I would pay quite a bit.

@44 in a Row: And as an aside, I'm at my parents' for the holidays. They have Verizon Fios. The Fios channel guide is the worst thing I've ever experienced. Literally nothing I've looked up has been right.

@Desi_Relaford: Rocky IV started at 11pm EST. That robot is still terrifying.

@Red Ned: I'm in New York City, and although Time Warner doesn't carry NFL Network, the fact that it's the local market means I get it on broadcast. Which also means I'm getting subjected to Thiesmann and Matt Millen. I really don't know what I did to deserve Matt Millen on Thanksgiving.

@44 in a Row: Wow, that comment got outdated in record time.

Well, I think Wade Phillips is available.

@woltz: My personal concern is more that Facebook has changed their rules regarding privacy a few times in the past. Aggregate info going to advertisers is one thing; deciding that every communication you make will be noted in a post on your Facebook wall is another. It's the latter that makes me wary of Facebook,

@yarsrvenge: The difference is that Google at least *claims* that they're keeping personally-identifiable information private. Facebook's entire business model is based on sharing as much of your information as possible with other people, not just in the aggregate for marketing purposes.

And now we've lost the Giants-Cowboys feed entirely. Although this is perhaps a blessing in disguise.

I feel kind of dirty about rooting for Princeton here, but if someone from my league can take down Duke, that works for me.

@GS Alf: Not to mention the long-term symptoms resulting from repeated blows to the head. Making the shots soft enough to hurt but not hard enough to knock you out is exactly why dementia pugilistica exists.

@Always Winning: I am shocked, SHOCKED to hear that stoners and young people couldn't manage to motivate themselves to vote.

Columbia alumni remain unimpressed.

@Phintastic: And that How I Met Your Mother episode!

I mean, none of those hits were illegal hits, but according to them I guess they were.

As a lifelong Mets fan... shoulda been you, Cowbell Man.

I thought it was more, "if you've ever been at a bar with white people, these songs will play."
