The article is incorrect. It’s not an Epic Store exclusive. It’s “co-exclusive” to Uplay and EGS. It requires a Uplay account either way so you might as well just buy it from Uplay.

Ubisoft does this with all of their games on PC, same with if you purchased a Ubisoft game on Steam in the past. And it was super annoying but thankfully these days it’s much easier to bypass the third party.

Just buy it on Uplay.

See I battle with the idea that the show did her wrong. I think the show portrayed her fine...but misogyny is so deeply ingrained in our culture that people walked away thinking she was worse than the rest.

If you think the court of public opinion uses actual evidence to base their accusations, think again

To me, the most startling thing I read was when people who watched the show were surveyd, Carole Baskin was viewed most unfavorably by a wide margin. Cult Leader Doc Antle and Scam Master Jeff Lowe received much better grades than she did. The second most unfavorable character? Her husband Howard.

I watched 2.5 episodes, then could stomach no more of these people. Saff seemed like the only decent one.

I, like millions of others, watched Tiger King and I walked away with two conclusions. First, this country is packed with crazy people and second, all the main tiger people were terrible, awful people I wouldn’t trust with a rusty nickel, much less the welfare of a big cat.

The documentary definitely throws decent shade at her sanctuary, but makes it pretty clear her husband probably just went to the Dominican Republic or whatever South American country it was as he had been traveling there a whole lot at that time & makes a good case he probably disappeared there.
