I don’t think it matters what the people want. China and to a lesser extent the U.S. gov’t see autonomous driving as public health issue and will force it on everyone. Thousands of people die in car accidents every day and this will save all those lives.

You’re so right, Freddy. I remember one time, my 1991 LS400 needed a new oil pump at 278,000. And my 99 Acura TL needed a $250 part after 170,000. My ‘99 Mazda has never needed anything and refuses to age, much less die.

Yes, but isn’t it mostly 2wd until it senses slip, then engages the rear wheels? Because cars like that typically feel front wheel drive.
