It’s certainly common in PC gaming (largely via monitors and laptop screens), but I think the deal is that consoles are typically connected to TVs rather than monitors, and I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a 1440p TV. With that in mind, “console supports features at non-TV resolution” probably warrants a bullet point.
