As a colorblind person, I really miss that black-and-yellow Renault livery. Now the only real standout is McLaren in a sea of whites, blues, and “darks” (e.g. Ferrari, Red Bull)... It makes it that much harder to tell cars apart in the action of a race.

Ahoy! Welcome from the greys! Also:

Trade-ins, that’s how. I’ve been getting a new phone every year or so for a while that way - after the initial buy-in, I’ve ended up paying somewhere between zilch and a hundred bucks or so at a time to swap out last year’s phone for the new hotness, or to switch brands.

LG has VRR on a decent number of midrange-and-up models - my OLED can do G-Sync, FreeSync, and the HDMI-spec VRR this article’s talking about. I’m not sure if Sony’s gotten around to selling any, but I’m pretty sure TCL offers some, and possibly Samsung, among others. However, as you said, you have to look for it, and

That’s what I was wondering, considering he was the only person I knew of who had committed to the service. He’s surely enough of a Big Deal™ that they’ll find a way to get him on CNN proper - assuming they don’t roll CNN+ content into one of their other services or whatever.

I wonder exactly what genre/kink they thought would be best for all those 64-year-olds renting summertime cottages...

Nails on a chalkboard. Thanks, non-grey pedant

No apologies necessary! It was mostly a bit of a joke - that small part of the apparatus admitted does look t like the innards of a business-level laser printer - but I appreciate your confirmation nonetheless. Now, off to buy a new printer, for, um, totally a different reason... ;)

Now I feel like you’re trying to tell me on the DL that people really do clean printers with washer tabs, and I’m even more confused

“weighs 44 pounds less than the Chiron”

I cannot for the life of me figure out that header photo... It sure looks like I’m supposed to use a dishwasher tab to clean the office laser printer - and apparently people do this often enough that there’s a stock photo of it.

On- topic: unionize all the things! And while $42000/yr is well above the median in rural nowheresville where I live, I can’t even begin to fathom scraping by on that salary in any city, let alone NYC/LA/CHI.

And not one photo of the original inspiration - just a tangential link. So for many of us, this is a meaningless slideshow of some rando’s art piece. It could’ve even been an extra slide!
