Thanks for this one dude!
Former a4 avant and Allroad (don’t laugh, I’m not totally broke now) owner here. I used both wagons front to back daily for all my EQ hauls and road trips.
Did you remember to put the “My other car is also a bad idea” bumper sticker on it?
is that 50w50 oil? Probably helps keep the rings sealed after 500k miles.
He is probably a 3rd world despot dictator and South Africa is the only place that will let him in the country.

But just to clarify, an HOA is usually set up by the company that is the lease holder of the property the homes are built on. HOA’s are especially common in apartment and condo complexes.
And not to mention if it violates an actual law then it doesn’t matter what anyones personal thoughts are on the matter. Right?
????? A Home Owners Association by definition is a group of residents that have a set of agreed upon bylaws that delineate the rules of aesthetics and maintenance of their homes in that area.
Seriously, everyone on here arguing about subjective opinion and you’re the only one to point out the ONLY REASON he wasn’t allowed to park his truck at his house- because of the law.
I concur. I see this era of S Class driving all the time around Los Angeles. Usually in such sorry shape I wonder how it isn’t leaving a trail of car parts behind it on the road.
Don’t forget the Allroad.
Yea, but we see this all the time, the guy buys a totaled Barracuda replaces every part except the trunk lid, transmission case, and a head rest, and then expects $150k when he goes to sell it.
David, I’m very glad you brought this up.
I think the base line of this story is the fact that these passengers are flying under the auspice of employ via United Airlines and as a result fall under the assumption of work place rules as outlined by contracts and codes of conduct agreed upon by the employee at the time of hire....... Right?
I learned on a 4x5. We weren’t allowed to use anything but crappy tri-x 320 and we had to base all our exposures on BDE while utilizing the law of light fall-off with a normal lens.
Sweet write up!
I’m a fan of this build.
Well damn, maybe an Audi Allroad isn’t a bad idea?
