A clean one is hard to find in LA, and I’ve seen 5 speeds go for 12-14k with 200k miles.

Yea, I never understand car people who get a car and want to hurry up and modify it with the worst, cheapest parts available.

A-f’n-men.

Thanks, I forgot about this article.

Future Classic.

very efficient!

????? So if I can’t have a heavily dented car on the road in Germany, wouldn’t that mean it’s EASIER to have a road legal car in the US?

I get that. If auto manufacturers were smart they would open subsidiary dealerships that cater to their classic models. It could be a win win- They get to carry on the brand legacy, keep customers on both ends of the buying spectrum, and also have a new revenue model for service and repairs.

Let’s be clear here, this car is street legal in Germany, yet a car built in a factory to Japan DOT specs can’t be made street legal in the US without it being crash tested or 25 years old. Greatness.

Totally, like when kids Jay Walk, sure it’s kind of wrong to run them over, but they are being assholes.

I’m pretty sure the bottom line isn’t what the biker was doing, it’s the fact that the driver of the car intentionally tried to harm the biker. Unless the biker was in some way threatening the immediate lives of those around him, the driver of the car had zero justification. It doesn’t matter if it was a double

even the hot rod scene when it started in the 50’s was laughed at. Those guys did ridiculous stuff to their rides, ran on crap tires, chop tops to kill visibility, cut holes in the cars body to make it lighter at the track, shiftily welded in “roll bars” that wouldn’t have held a coat hanger.

Hot rod shows? I haven’t seen one useful, original car at a hot rod show since 2001. They might as well call most of the car shows now “Clone Wars”.

Hey Bro! I just bought a new/used Mustang GT with the insurance money from my totaled Civic. It’s totes #beastmode and I can’t wait to #hoonigan this road #becauseracecar when my general ed classes are over at LA Community College. I only use 87 octane in it tho because I just bought the newest AJ’s and a Diamond

Goes great with my driving kilt.

I’m going to assume the winning contest will have some blend of cocaine, underage teens, neon, recycled ideas, and probably a penis placed strategically near an orifice.

I agree. The Lexus of this era, while OK, still leaves much to be desired in the way of interior design (although the ID300 isn’t too bad), and driving enjoyment.

This is the RWD version of the Corrado/Scirocco.

Ready for an MR2 engine swap!

I support your enthusiasm, and applause your taste in off-beat cars.
