I am with you… My tally of faded gaming: Interstate 76 (somehow still kind of kicking with cobbled together third party servers but game runs crappy on new PCs) MotorCity Online (thanks EA! Only lasted 3 years… ) City of Heroes… Have been playing Eve Online now for almost 7 years but that is more of a job…

I prefer "Euro" U2 vs. Americana U2 but really enjoyed The Joshua Tree. Bought Achtung Baby and didn't "get it" and never bought another one after that. R.E.M. kind of petered out for me in the 90's too.

The U2 that appears on Achtung Baby may as well be a different band for me when compared to TJT. I have always had a fascination with that early Edge guitar sound and I think it was largely demoted by the time Achtung Baby was released. Also probably had something to do with pre and post high school graduation for me…
