Voted NP for two reasons.  1 I have a heart, this is the RX7 body style I like and it's red.  2, I already have the assumptions things are going to break.  It's a 40 year old car and from what I can gather from people I know who run Rotary engines is similar to owning an eclipse, you fix something and then the process

It’s a different side of the enthusiast pretension that overvalue specs, pedigree or overhead cams on performance cars and knock legitimate contenders. Cars or trucks can be better than the sum of thier parts.  A limited slip and skidplates go a long ways and to most people that suv is just as capable as a Jeep.

Even knowing the Corvette is good it's just a lot to ask knowing that ask your have to do is wait a year or two

I’m in the same boat.  Occasionally I wish I had a differential, or about 15-20 more hp but even in spirited driving on roads there is not much given up.

Honestly this generation loses some of the value. The previous generation hatches all had the 1.5 turbo and my sport hatch was around 20-21 k MSRP.  The sport was the highest level with the 6 speed other than the Si and type R.  At the current price structure I probably would buy a Kia hatch with the turbo instead.

I’m also going to throw it out there that the chase in bullet does not make up for the rest of the movie.  It is so bad, good chase but a long time to get there

I remember these when they came out.  I was a Mopar guy, excited about the hemi and liking the ram redesign.  Then this appearance package came out that reminded me of the mid/late 70s Aspen packages.  I think I saw one pulling a trailer in Montana once, but the trailer has jet skis.  Seems like the truck for those

Didn’t realize those pedestrians were Jedi

Right, I don't like them, idolize them or desire to own one but it seems like as tone marches on and new halo cars come out the GTR can still hang.

Honestly I haven’t seen any evidence that they offer an advantage, only echo chamber forum stuff that says they are better with not testing. The fins are there to make them shed heat, I haven’t seen any testing that shows holes help them cool down quicker. If your have some I would love to see it and stand corrected

I think the point could be made that trucks aren’t always the most user friendly vehicles in snow, but the statement they don’t get around well in the snow is ludicrous if they are 4wd.  They are pretty unstoppable if you understand car control.  If you show down, drive the conditions and understand that your have

This is interesting, although you also have to account for being able to control the vehicle https://www.autoweek.com/car-life/a1690156/will-you-stop-faster-2wd-or-4wd-engaged-turns-out-it-depends/

Not really, in powder or slush the do well.  On ice the trend to be terrible though.

False, I have both a 4wd pickup, an outback and a Civic.  In a couple inches of about the Subaru does a little better than the Civic getting going but other than that the Civic is easier to control.  Anything deeper and my pickup does a lot better, you just have to exercise throttle control

Honestly I think it’s always been a complaint and in a subjective form of art or entertainment people look for objective ways to rationalize why thier music is better. In the 70s rock bands prided themselves in writing thier own songs and recording them without studio musicians. It goes back into jazz where certain

Or they just put different ring and pinion gears in it to compensate

I think the barrier is that many systems in cars are interdependent and while they have much of the hardware to do it to the manufacturer it probably isn't worth the cost to reprogram the system for the small amount of manual cars they would sell.  My Civic didn't come with Honda sense either because of the 6 speed

I’m working on my third engine swap and first one using EFI. Aside from cost, which is significant, the complexity of the fuel system is another reason why you can go with a carb. You can just run rubber fuel hose or hard-line or even use the original line from the tank with a carb, EFI you have to plumb a high

Although to be fair it wasn’t that the whole lineup was like this, just thier bigger cars. Here is a 92 cavalier

If it had the second one for balance perhaps it wouldn't have hit the wall?
