They also tend to be the, I only buy used cars crowd

The dealers need the entry level truck so they can upsell you to a brand new high margin F150.

Perhaps he was marooned on ceti alpha V in one

I do too, if I could find a 64 2 door I would make space in my garage for it in a hurry

I have some love for these things, although the 64 is more my jam.  I personally in this vintage would rock the wagon.  Also, the more I think about it this car for the beautiful on the inside vibe better than the Aztec being the insides included a all aluminum inline six with a 4 barrel on some of these

Also note, these cars looked better in pictures than in person

I’m curious what you think from late 70s Chrysler was uglier than the Aztec. Also, if you are going to pick up Chrysler design I think the answer you are looking for is the early 60s. Behold the 62 valiant, still not as ugly as the Aztec.

Was going to make a joke about Tesla struggling to ramp up production, stopped myself and checked Aztec sales figures, peak year was 27000 with a quick drop off.  Ouch.

Still better styling than the Chevy Silverado

They will just roll it into the financing anyway, what's another 20 bucks a month for the next 8 years?

I don't know that I would personally want it, but the pricing seems to reflect the deficiencies so I voted np.

The crazy thing was that those AMC employees had a big part in Chryslers recovery in the 90s before the merger of equals helped push them into today's sad state.  AMC did so much with so little.  I always appreciated these things, but it was pretty clear they were a car from a different era.

I have liked most full size pickups with steel wheels, especially the Dodge “Chrome Clad” option.

Not a small number of those people probably have a burnt out low beam, I have experienced this a few times with friends, even changed thier bulbs for them as a service to polite society.

He’s not the hero we need in the post Manual society, but the one we deserve

I have a number of vehicles that have manual transmissions and still daily drive a civic with a stick and this is true. With the 4 cylinder and the automatic options in its day it probably needed the 5 speed to get out of its way but that in no way means I would rather it than a 3.8 automatic on this vehicle.

This is correct, if I remember right it helps the inside wheel grip before the cornering forces unload that tire helping with turn in.

I think the Civic Hatchback sits in a grey area. I only cared about this when people on the internet started saying “it’s not a hatchback, it’s a liftback” and many on the examples given in articles that talk of the distinction site the Monza and RX 7 as liftback. I think it’s because of the 2nd spoiler that houses

From working on a 360 magnum and the hemi in my team I agree.  The engines are lasted out differently enough that the LA based viper engine might be easier to work on than the hemi in my 06 ram, I can say I would rather change the spark plugs on this at the least

Either every chance they got, or once and it scared the crap out of them so they put it up for sale.
