Idk if it's badass.  It's cool, but the thing is never going to be in it's element.  The handling got worse when it was jacked up, it's too long to rallycross and a stock Jeep or pickup with 4wd should off-road better and if it doesn't it can for pretty cheap.

I do think this is the sort of car you but for cash and then make a 500-700 monthly payment into savings so your ready when expensive stuff breaks.  You are not getting a cheap car, just deferring the cost until later

Idk man, I grew up around talking turbo k cars with digital dashes. Every now and then I still see a k car on the road too. Anything with a 2.8 in it is a hard pass for me.

Trying to figure out the steering linkage gives me a headache. It’s hard to say without driving them back to back, but peak power numbers don’t tell the full story, especially when comparing na to a turbocharged engine. The torque and flat power band of the turbocharged engine often gives it performance better than it’s peak hp would suggest.
