As bad as this is for their profit margin on your single car purchase you are probably helping them them sell the hell out of their warranties. You need to establish a mole inside of Carmax to find out you are affecting their warranty sales figures and tactics.

Silver is pretty light to begin with. Unless the cars paint is trashed, based on my experience, it should be pretty unnoticeable. Regardless I think the a spot of slightly off color is better then a dealers advertisement.

LCD screens that appear to be aftermarket units bolted to the dash or a poorly executed afterthought. Yuck.
Here’s your interior. It’s a tight fit, but not really as bad as some say it is. I’m 5’11” and I wouldn't want to be much taller than I am in it.

It seems simple, but the obvious question is how the state would confirm how “necessary repairs were made.” Does that mean ensuring the car is putting out the lowest possible amount of emissions or making drastic changes to the powertrain to get inline with the sniffer test? Or can you just pay off a mechanic to say…
