I am intrigued. How does the heavier, less powerful car come out on top? Is the turbocharged engine that much better at delivering consistent power?

Don’t forget what KIA stands for.
I guess will start seeing Kias crashing out of Cars and Coffee now.
Time for a new wife. Live the dream.
Clearly a lot of work went into this which is why its kind of a shame that the power is so low.
I used to own a 350 hp L67 swapped ‘86. That car was truly something else.
And on second glance, this is still a terrible idea. Someone has taken a near bulletproof drivetrain and swapped it out for something that has half the performance, half the range, all the downsides of charging a battery pack and added 400 lbs to the weight of the vehicle. What part of this is a good deal???
I also think Subaru’s brand is strong, both for practicality, efficiency, and environmental impact. That kind of thing appeals to Connecticut Yankee types.
You could say their Acura-cy was Legend-ary.
Coordinating something like that required some impressive Acura-cy.
You’d have to be blasting this: Pretty Fly
if you settle for the V6 Camaro, you deserve it.
Worse part was the V8 model was in the low 100s...
245 hp for the Grand National, a lot for the day. http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/road-tests/a25623/first-look-flashback-1987-buick-gnx/
The class never left! They’re still driving around! lol
