Toyota Hilux rescuing a Ford $hitbox, Toyota for the win AGAIN!

The all mighty Hilux.

I feel like those trucks should have come with one of these standard:

That should be “Willys”.....

Or just get one of these for under 10k.

The average new car price is now in the mid-$30k range and people think a decently well appointed V8 sedan should be cheaper than that. It’s amazing.

It should be cheaper than the base price of the lowest trim V8 Charger?

So about $30k new is what a large sedan with400+ HP and 400+ lb/ft. of torque, magnetic suspension, plus literally every option that gm can think of (leather, nav, stay in your lane, park for me, rear camera, xm, etc.) should cost?

or a ~$1000 to have it done after you buy it... make the seller split the cost and you’d still have a sweet ride for $6k

I’m sure the goatees will be artisanal.

It will break but it will continue to run, that is Chevrolet

Bonus points if it has barn doors.

I’m with ya. 194K miles of towing, hauling, camping, and offroading. Oh, and its been totaled once. Still goes.

That things got more plastic than my wife’s old dildo

2 Door Tahoe > 4 door Tahoe.

It’s the same reason I have a 510 HP daily. Do I need it? Absolutely not. Do I want it? Without a doubt. Does it make my heart go pitter patter every time I get in to go somewhere? Hell yes.

Same thing with the people with their big trucks and tiny loads (See what I did there? Yeah you do.) or anyone else that’s into

That’s why I don’t hit pedestrians

I spotted this a month ago in Ohio. Seems to be a brand new Toyota, with a cab and the chassis of a land cruiser. Also with a machine gun mount. And it was on a US government plate trailer.

They rust out really quick, leaving dangerous edges to get tetanus from. That and the weak as a beer can single wall construction of the bed is why they changed to the modern beds of today.

Bed rail hooks: SERIOUSLY underappreciated these days.
