Bradley, why the need to be condescending just because someone doesn’t agree with your opinion? Was the car set up the same in both instances? As you know alignment and tires can easily change the handling characteristics and would allow both opinions to be correct.

Ditto. If you haven’t already I would recommend the ECS short shifter, significantly improves the day to day enjoyment. Also a fairly simple DYI.

I have seen the car and definitely still think it is ugly. Beauty is subjective.

Such a glaring oversight by Porsche, but all the more reason to drive them how they were meant to be. Then have the 3rd gear replaced under warranty when it goes.

It was only third gear...you can google it, usually occurring on track under high load in cars with a 2016 build date. Porsche changed the manufacturing process during production so not all GT4s are effected.

With the GT4 it was a third gear failure, but yes definitely geared too long. Interestingly, some reported 3rd gear failures in the 718 as well, so the issue may have not been completely resolved.

Sad, but inevitable given their current direction. Unfortunately, my S4 will likely be my last Audi as a result.

Definitely agree, both look great. The S5 is a coupe though...however the rear is almost indistinguishable from the S4. Audi is unfortunately visually becoming one car offered in various sizes.

The S4 had a manual until 2016. They unfortunately killed it off for the new B9...

Hopefully. Also if you haven’t purchased a VAG-COM, buy one from Ross Tech. Worth its weight in gold. Can make lots of customizations, as well as viewing/reseting codes.

Ya it caused an adaptive headlight warning. Was glad the car was still under warranty so didn’t bother to see what the VAG-COM specified. Just assumed Audi was going to cover a nice large bill. Was surprised when it was just a bulb.

Agreed. 4.5 years into B8.5 S4 ownership and the only warranty items were two indicator bulbs and a climate control backlight. Love the car, perfect daily driver, especially in a northern climate. Sad that the manual is now dead...

IMO the Daytona is the pinnacle of automatic related watches, the new white dialled ceramic finally harking back to the 6263. Gorgeous, but unfortunately not cheap.
