Does it? Two weeks after launch being dropped 20 bucks from a pretty well known developer? That happens all the time? Really?
Walking into this, i wasn’t expecting him to beat the hell out of someone with a Pinata.
Agreed. The RPGization would definitely explain why some people think the game has no depth; the lack of unlocks. Personally for me, unlocks are cool, but I have always wanted to be better at a game and that’s what keeps me going.
Yeah that’s the thing - having played a buttload of Unreal Tournament, I picked up Pharah and was dominating as her. But I couldn’t get the hang of Tracer for the few games I played as her, and I’m looking forward to getting better with her and all the other characters I want to play.
I think it’s the “RPGization” of gaming... I remember being a teen (back in my day, etc. etc.) playing shooters like Unreal Tournament and Day of Defeat, and the things that kept you playing were the desire to get better at the game, going on an insane kill streak and netting a really fantastic K/D ratio for a match,…
3 days, 2 hours, 19 minutes......I can do this.
I dunno about you, but Battleborn’s been out for what? Two? Three weeks? I really haven’t cared.
As someone who is in love with Overwatch, without any particular hard on for Blizzard. I think it is a matter of the game either speaking to you or it doesn’t. I can see the tone of the game not being for everyone.
People like it, so I guess yeah, you are missing something.
Now I feel bad for killing him because I thought he was trying to rip me off. Wonder if that has a different affect when I run across this.
