I don’t get it. You compare it to two really nice cars. Then you compare it to an Altima which is not in the same class of any of the previous listed cars?

Agreed 100%. Damn you said that so eloquently. I had a 2002 Maxima SE and their is just no way you can compare it to a 2016 Maxima. They didn’t talk about the many great feature like the Intelligent Cruise Control. Anyway this forum is irritating me with all the nonsensical information

I hate it when I step on the gas and next thing I know I look at my speedometer as it passes 100 MPH climbing to 110 in half a block. I can’t even feel the transmission shift 1 time during all of this. Damn, that Maxima is just too damn fast. Frigging CVT’s are shit. I should have gotten a manual transmissin then this

Does SPORTY mean it has a hard obtrusive shift at every gear to keep you focused? I think the 300HP engine, 19" wheels and lowered suspension qualify at least some in making it sporty. Personally, I like feeling pure acceleration to top speed with no hiccups \ shifts in between. Think about it. A manual or static gear

Then you absultely simply hate CVT’s because Subaru is said to have one of the best CVT’s on the market. CVT’s are the future and eventually most newer cars will have CVT’s. Out with the old in with the new...

This doesn’t even sound like a CVT. You can’t FEEL a CVT shift. The new CVT’s have the D-Step software feature and you may now hear the engine rev slightly before shifting, but you still will never feel the shift or any kind of stuttering. Maxima’s CVT are super smooth like driveing a Tesla. Power with no shift shock.

This sounds like driver issues to me. My 2016 Maxima SR has absolutely NO PROBLEM jumping in front of fast moving cars and perfectly matching the higher rate of speed. But, I have an SR and paddle shifters. I can easily slap the left paddle 2-3 times drop down to 2nd or 3rd RPM fly up around 6000 RPM, rump on the gas

Bring your Honda and meet me and my Maxxima at the race track. I have already changed my air intake body and exhaust headers and now getting around 310-315 HP. Upgraded my tires on the nice 19" rims and have great traction. The brand new 2017 Honda Accord is only putting out 278HP and its CVT is not has no sports

I am a computer Engineer and could have easily afforde an Infinity Q50, Audio ot Lexus IS 350. After test driving all of them I happily chose the 2016 Maxima SR which for the money spent by far was the best value. All other cars only slightly sportier than this was going to cost me 50K+. I rolled the Maxima for $32.5

This is absolutely the worst information I have ever heard. I currently own a 2016 Maxima SR and it is absolutely a super fun and responsive car to drive. It make my Lexus ES 350 feel like an old ladies car. The paddle shifters are very responsive and downshift the car on turns exactly as expected. I have had several
