Was looking at these on autotrader the other day after seeing a video on youtube of one that had been modded with the GTI turbo, a tune, DP, sways and bags. It can be had in manual as well.

Is everyone so racially wound up that they can’t see that Wesly Michel shouldn’t have “caught the door” and should have used the callbox to enter the building?
I’d like something a little newer but then the reality of a performance oriented manual wagon being a thing of the past kicks in. My 2007 V70R is the last year they made them. I really don’t have any choices. There’s the Golf sportwagon and maybe you could say the Mini Clubman but that’s it. And both those are nowhere…
Call me when they offer a wide-body Hellcat Magnum with a TR-6060.
760Hp! because 662 couldn’t scare the cars and coffee crowds enough, here’s another 100 pony’s to play with. Go see what you can do hot shot!
Breakdowns are not fun. Sure a free tow takes the sting out of it but you know what’s always better than a free tow...? taking care of your car and not breaking down.
Neutral: Americans are too obsessed with capability and creature comforts. On paper a small basic stripped down modern pick up sounds great for running parts around, or for the handyman, or a company fleet vehicle. The reality is, once they start comparing the price for what they get, and the capability of the two,…
Holy Shit!
I was thinking the same thing about how quick these were just the other day. (I think it was an article on here about the next gen X5). I did some research and the current/outgoing X5 M does 0-60 in 3.8 seconds. So the next one has to go even deeper into the 3's....Insane!
Every time I hear the term “Near-miss” I think of this...
While BaT is definitely on the high end of pricing for vehicles, there’s a reason for it. Those vehicles are generally (but not always) in better shape than a craigslist find. They have more pictures and the listing are usually much more transparent. To say its not representative of reality is funny to me because…
I disagree. the P2 V70R’s are most definitely not going for $4500 unless they are basket cases or have been to the moon and back mileage wise.
I wanted to vote NP, I really did. Then logic kicked in and I realized for that kind of scratch you could get bonafide performance wagons like the S4 Avant or the V70R with a manual for the same price.
You forgot the other key Jalopnik selling point
You should be able to find a higher mileage V1 for $8k. Relatively easy and cheap to work on.
I’ll see your DD “wagon” and raise you a DD “Volvo wagon”. If yours is invisible, my M66 equiped V70R may as well be a black hole. :-)
Yeah looks a little weird that you mention it. Seems like it only comes on the S4 tho.
Something tells me the sonata driver brake checked the focus (or at least tapped their brakes) and we didn’t see it, for the focus to go off like that.
