There are two huge reasons why they likely won't revive any of the vehicles.

Let's be clear... someone bought the name "Saab". And probably some intellectual property as well. NOBODY has come forth to start producing Saab vehicles again, and likely never will. So, yes, "Saab" lives, but Saab cars? Dead.
If it's wrong not to want a car that doesn't start (and hasn't in years), then I don't want to be right.
It's pretty obvious from the video that the driver knows something bad has happened, as evidenced by their pulling over multiple lanes, getting off at the first exit, and putting on the hazard lights.

Why do you figure North Americans are so fixated on sedans? Give me a hatchback or a wagon ANY day. When I see vehicles that were originally a hatch with a grafted-on trunk to make it a sedan (hello Toyota Echo) I have to wonder what the hell people are thinking.
The end is nigh - there is now both a Ford and a freakin' BUICK that I'd seriously consider. And now I wouldn't even consider a Honda except for the Odyssey (which I already have). The times, they are a-changin'.
This has worked for Hwy 407 in Ontario, Canada. Transponders aren't mandatory, you are billed using information from your license plate, but at rates that are punishing (over $5/entry without a transponder, compared to a transponder rental of $2/mo). The biggest issue would be getting other states to allow the toll…

Hear, hear!
Excellent suggestion. Make it a week-long daily special segment!
If they ever offered a factory turbo in the Accent 5-door, I'd be all over it. I love the look of the Veloster, but a turbo Accent would be a nice sleeper.
My thought process reading this:
For that price, you could get a Fiero-based GT86 kit!
They're "street tires" that can do 260+ mph. Sure, you could probably put some T-rated rubber on there... BUT WHY?!? You dropped $1.7M on a toy, you are the honey badger when it comes to tire costs.
Wait wait wait. He ended up oversteering to FACE the grass embankment. Had he actually gone off the corner, he would have... gone over some grass and asphalt? WORST case, he'd have run afoul of the guard rail.
That's gonna be a C-section for sure.
Has anyone called the ASPCC on this guy?
Because Canada. At best, and I mean absolute best-case scenario with my riding skills being that of a reincarnated grizzled riding veteran, I'd get maybe 6 months of use out of a bike. Assuming I can drive it in the rain, and when we're still getting morning frost. To get to that level of expertise, I'd have to…
