Yes this would have been an epic disaster if it had come out in 98, but the more stuff like this trickles out into the world the more I wish I could see it. Sometimes bat-shit crazy is cool.

This played at our local film festival in August. I was pretty meh going into it. Mostly because I had spoke with the director for a bit, and he kinda bugged me. It wasn't half bad though and I would have to say check it out.

You know the very first Aliens Vs. Predators comic was brillant and would have made an excellent movie.

I like this show, and whether anybody here will admit it or not I think most of us at least care enough to get invested in it. (Every week this post gets blown up with comments. So I think it's safe to say that)

And... the giant alien monster stomps on the car....and the guy falls out unharmed.

Look at it as an investment. If you buy non 3D tickets then sneak into the 3D movie, they pay for themselves in what, 30 movie nights?

@Wesley Street: It's not the same. The All-Star line is seperate universes with their own audience. The ultimate universe is unified with all the books being within it's continuity.

I've been waiting for a "DC Ultimates line", but this sounds kinda lame.

Daft Punk are pretty awesome, but it just goes to show how ahead of the curve the original Tron film was. It's taken almost 30 years for the effects medium to properly catch up to what it should have looked like back then.

If the remake is inevitable, just lie back and try to enjoy it.

I have worked in healthcare pretty much my entire career. None of this surprises me. M.D.'s take kickbacks from whomever will offer them. (Obviously not all M.D.'s but staggeringly high percentage) Prosthetics companies used to basically own Orthepedics.
