But now you're talking about whether or not someone would be able to live in a different country than your children (which people still do after the kids are grown), not whether you identify with your homeland or could adapt to living their yourself again.

Embarrassment squick? I know far more people who can't watch, say, David Brent making a fool of himself on the UK Office than people who would have likely turned away from Elizabeth's assassinations.

Also I'd imagine that they must be very loyal to each other given how we see them. If I were any of them I'd fear defecting because I wouldn't want to give any info on other Illegals.

We also probably don't know everything about Don that Elizabeth knows. Maybe he did something like this in the past and that's why when he woke up he was so quick to apologize and run out (as opposed to being confused and unbelieving). She's gotten to know these people and studied their biographies.

I doubt it. I took what she said to mean that she's just knowing that she's taken the first step to hurting her, so when this is all over she'll miss her. And in a way she does already because she's no longer just her friend. She's stabbed her in the back already, Young Hee just doesn't know it yet.

It's Patty.

Probably wouldn't have worked, though. I think Elizabeth has always been aware that not everybody can be seduced. Usually she's dealing with guys who are up for sex with whoever.

It seems like it would be really weird of Elizabeth not to think of this too. It's just so obvious with this guy.

Seriously. it's like he's working on some sort of reverse honeytrap where everything he does makes his death that much more necessary.

LOL! I like how you accidentally suggested that Elizabeth is working to bring down Woody Allen.

I like how Philip seems to kind of inspire him, which hasn't happened for years.

Level four access at William's lab.

But so perfect for Pastor Tim. I wouldn't be surprised if knowing Philip and Elizabeth makes him now even more determined to feel heroic by going to dangerous places without really seeing the danger and then getting into trouble to be blamed on the Jennings.

I don't think that line was meant to be read only that way—or even necessarily that way. Philip and Elizabeth are not trying to destroy America, and when Gaad is saying that we're seeing them being a family. Gaad's line was something Elizabeth might say about Americans.

I agree. Enough with the stranger kids for Philip. He's got one already. Plus since they weren't trying to have kids she ought to be on some other birth control besides.

They came here after that. (Sadly, I remember this because that was the end of S2 of Mad Men, and Elizabeth and Philip came to the US in 1965, which would have been S4.)

Some people assume that since Philip didn't put a condom on the last time he and Martha had sex she's definitely pregnant.

He's Pastor Tim. Hard to place any face under that wig!

And Elizabeth praised her own mother because she "didn't blink" about sending Elizabeth into the KGB.

She said it was stress from driving a car. That's why Philip said, "Just let him go around you." Her understanding of spying is pretty limited. Last week she still didn't even get why it was so important she go to Bible study. I think it was a big part of that whole sequence that it was normal driving stuff.
