Agreed. I'm the sort of gamer that likes to try and do everything a game has to offer, including finding the bugs and exploits (I used to work QA). The moral content of those things doesn't cross my mind - obviously, otherwise I wouldn't play a game like GTA or Payday.

I've had this debate with my mother-in-law in the past when discussing violence in video games and as a longtime gamer, I find myself always having to defend my hobby.

Yes. Yes and Yes. For all the reasons you mentioned... and the Forgotten Hope Mod. It made a great game even better - I've still yet to see a WWII game match it's intensity, scale, historical accuracy and sheer fun.

After watching The Wire, I'd love to find the entire run of Homicide, Simon's first foray into screenwriting. I watched it as a kid with my father but it was a bit over my head.

The Wire and Breaking Bad are two of the best things to ever air on television. Sopranos, Deadwood and Rome are also favorites of mine - Deadwood ended prematurely but was amazing regardess.

I'm with you Quazar87 and I've been playing the Civ series since it's inception. Civ IV was far deeper than Civ V (note: I've not played any expansions for Civ V). Give me Civ IV, with the Rhys of Civilizations Mod over Civ 5 any day.
