I attend BYU, and we have some in the Engineering department, as well as one in the Library that is free for everyone to use. All you have to do is pay the materials! (and wait for the 3 day waiting list)

Yep, we offer it for free right now due to a grant but even after it runs out, our pricing is 50 cents per 15 min of printing.

I use my library’s 3d printer a lot. It’s a small fee and the librarians love to help. So I second the vote for library.

Didn’t even know this was a thing! I guess if you live near a more affluent area, their libraries will be better equipped.
