The only thing I can think they meant was “sub AAA”. This game, whether you like it or not, looks like like a serious attempt at excellence and not as some filler for gamepass.

Yuri Lowenthal, who voiced Spider-Man in the PS4 Insomniac games, also voiced him in the recently released Marvel Midnight Suns game from Firaxis. I like to think this is a subtle way of implying it’s set in the same continuity as the Insomniac games and thus the larger world of Into the Spider-Verse.

This is the PERFECT example of a “I don’t know if I want to buy this, but I’ll play it on Game Pass” game.

They’re the client. They gave the AI a task and it did all the work. It created the composition, layout, and created the image based on the user’s order.

So at least we see how horrible she can be in one field. 

It’s far better than any ultimate alliance game has ever been, especially the social aspects. Book club with Blade, and Caps America and Marvel? Work shop with Robbie and Peter? Spooky club with Nico, Magik and Strange?

If for no other reason I’ll be seeing this for that music. The way they’re using the familiar Mario tunes sounds fantastic. 

I agree in general, but Flanagan has a knack for nailing King’s tone. And while his usual “the real journey was the friends we made along the way” shtick gets increasingly tired with each iteration, it’s a natural fit for The Dark Tower.

If they can turn a one-room play that’s mostly internal dialogue like Gerald’s Game into an excellent film, then I’m going to give them benefit of the doubt that third time with Dark Tower will be the charm.

I don’t care if Smash Bros. Melee is not “out of copyright.” If it’s not being commercially sold, it should be public domain, period.

(All things should be public domain honestly because copyright should not exist at all, but it especially should not exist for things that aren’t being sold.)
