I love this movie and have since I was 8 years old. I’ve probably seen it 30 times, and every time Elizabeth looks up in the end and says Mama, I damn melt.

I love those girls. Their version of Hard Times Come Again No More is one of the prettiest things I’ve ever heard.

Are you southern? Because I feel like that phrase is a lot more common in the south. I’m not a football person either, but I hear that one regularly.

Watched this last week with my newly-minted high schooler. It never disappoints.

Man, I saw the cutest guy at the gas station today. He was so pretty that I almost walked up to him and told him. But he was young and I am old and it would have been creepy.

Dude, I saw the Plain White T’s a couple of years ago (don’t judge me, I have a weakness for white-boy, saccharine harmony) and it was awkward. The lead singer apparently got divorced, and he’s angry. And that is not a band that does angry well. Plus, at one point, they yelled, “we’re on the jumbotron!!” and they

Amen!!!!!

It wasn’t directed to Madeline-merely to the community at large. If you’ve already posted it in previous years, no need to post it again.

Stop reposting old stories!! If it didn’t get picked last year, it won’t get picked this year! We need fresh blood....

Good to know! Thanks!

I agree, but I also think coach bags are a dime a dozen in resale. In checking Facebook marketplace I found several listed around $50 without a bit of interest. These are nicer, but still...

It will probably be listed locally on Facebook marketplace, but these are the ones she has. They’re really beautiful, but the big ones are SO HEAVY!!! I’d keep one of the smaller ones, but she bought me a leather cross body bag from Hobo that I adore, and I’m not one to switch out purses.

Okay, on this note, what’s a reasonable price to ask for a resale coach bag? My MIL has five that she wants me to sell for her and they’re in perfect condition, but I have no idea what to ask. $50?

But seriously, how many times do you think she jumped on that bed to get that picture? 15? 50?

There are lots of great, shade-loving plants. Hostas, hydrangeas, and azaleas are awesome. But since you’re renting, you may want to do inexpensive perrennials, and you can plant more impatiens and begonias than you can shake a stick at for very little money. For fall and winter, you won’t have as many options

For the first time ever, I have kept a shit ton of plants alive. My meager advice is to pay attention to the sun in your yard- how many hours a day? Morning or afternoon? Lowes has all their stuff organized by how much sun it needs. I’m still trying to figure out how to pair stuff with similar water needs (with a few

Hell yeah. Bring back Gardening by the Yard. That was a great show.

Good. Lord.

That guy was the one the immediately came to mind. He does still comment, and he still creeps me out.

It was the first cd I ever bought.
