I am pleasantly drunk on my deck in the country. I’m listening to cicadas and the Avett brothers an old crow medicine show in candlelight. My kids are happy and having a snack, and I’m feeling hashtag blessed. What’s making you happy, jezzies?

It was a beautiful old plaster wall. It really brought out all the variations in the orange.

I recently stayed in a lovely old house that had orange walls in the parlor. They weren’t too bright, and not as dark as terra cotta-I guess I’d call them a Tuscan orange. But they were lovely!!
