Yes, absolutely! I’ve eaten at Meat and Potatoes and Butterjoint in the last week and even though I’ve been before, I’m still amazed that places like this exist by the dozens here and yet people still think it is some backwater hicksville. I’m from one of those and this is certainly not one of them.
On Forbes, right next to the Pitt residence halls.
You can get Utz here, and Crab Chips specifically.
They are all downtown and there is one in Oakland. Dude, if you just want a driving tour of weird junk food around Pittsburgh, I’m pretty much an expert and would love to try to convince you that the city isn’t a terrible.
I live in Pittsburgh too and have always been able to find these, the trick is going to the burbs. I live in the east end and most places around here sell out pretty fast, or stick things on weird end caps. Target usually stocks these pretty fast, but the e liberty one is always out of everything, as I’m sure you…
THIS. My husband and I are going through some hard times and might split, and we are BOTH only children, so it’s been real swell disappointing every single family member.
My parents only had one child for similar reasons and my mom got a lot of shit for it and formed a similar response. It is still shocking to me that, at 34, I still get so much flack from everyone for being an only child, as if that was my choice.
No, it’s awesome, actually. We had a sedan, but because it was just me, I could lay down in the back seat and pull down the rear seats to access the cooler and toys in the trunk!
Pittsburgh is the best!!!!!!!!!
I have had a big 16 lb male for nine years. We got him from the shelter when he was around 2, and he was a rough and tumble street Tom in a really gross area of town that is a feral cat utopia. I say this just to point out that he had a probably not great life before he was caught by the city. But now he is our…
Hah, yeah I work in the Strip, people are *weird* here. And I have spent a lot of time in Lawrenceville and lived in the east end for 8 years. People give us short shrift all the time, but it is a great place. Lemme guess—you went to Cattivo? That place is such a hilarious dive.
Pittsburgh is seriously THE BEST. I mean, I’m biased, sure...But it is a hell of a lot more affordable than other cities of similar size and most people here are just nice to a fault. I love it. I’m glad you had fun!!!
THANK YOU
I also envy your light eyebrows! Does that sound weird???
God bless you for coming to Pittsburgh Pride, I’m sorry for our terrible weather and infrastructure.
I did read it, and actually really liked it and did not find her to come across as an asshole (unlike sections of Amy Poehler’s book, which had a surprisingly harsh tone). Can I ask which parts you got that perception from? (Honestly asking, because I found her to be very relatable....but then again, I’m a total dick,…
This Black or White gif is everything.
Yeah I knew there was a local connection with him, which makes it a doubly weird derision.
Pittsburgh is actually really awesome, and luckily most people still think it sucks so we will just stay here enjoying our 80k houses, great jobs, and bourgeoning food and brewing scene, thanks.
