The few styrofoam recycling places near me don’t pay you for styrofoam. They charge you. A lot.
Helluva lot cheaper than Sterno.

I think because sometimes it’s frankly unavoidable, like with restaurant takeout or even leftovers and a lot of food packaging.

If you play Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer and other table top games that require miniatures, you can repurpose styrofoam into buildings, hills, mountains, etc.

I’ve tried to switch to LEDs, but I have yet to be satisfied with the quality of light they put out, the multi colored especially. To me they are bright and harsh, and don’t offer the warm comforting glow you get from incandescent bulbs.
Saving a light string may be a lesson in futility. I spent 4 hours of my time trying to test my dead LED light strings. It cost me $25 to buy a tester-gun, and 4 hours of reading very difficult instructions to try to test and repair my lights. I never got this TOOL to indicate anything much less repair anything, the…
